Net-a-Porter.com has released am iPhone application, the Net-App. Shoppers can browse handbags, clothes and shoes; read the site's weekly fashion stories; and make purchases reports Luxist. The potential for shopping on phones "is massive," said Alison Loehnis, v.p. of sales and marketing at Net-a-Porter.com, in the Times. "We feel very strongly that third-generation technology is the new shop window. No one wants to be bound to their computer anymore."

Samsung's RFG299 is a new French Door Refrigerator with a 7-inch touchscreen LCD. The LCD screen allows users to control the refrigerator's temperature or monitor its water filter status, and also offers access to integrated calendars, schedules, photos, nutrition facts and unit conversions. Loewe crystal-studded television

Loewe plans to offer a crystal-studded television with an 80 centimeter screen (diagonal), the standard reports. Only 20 of these will be made available in Hong Kong. Pre-sales orders are now being taken , a spokesman says. Loewe promises that these TVs can be configured on request, both in terms of technology and design. Meridian Audio Limited has unveiled their latest high-definition video projector, the MF10.

Building on the success of the award-winning MF1, the new MF10 uses the
latest-generation D-ILA light-engine technology, in a maximum-performance
three-chip 1080p array. Based upon an all-new, 0.7-inch DILA device, the
MF10’s refined new optical package delivers an important reduction in stray
light, producing industry-best black levels (in excess of 30,000:1 native
contrast ratio) without the use of a servo iris. This means powerfully
stunning blacks and superbly dynamic visual “pop,” with no sacrifice in
light output—or of the MF10’s remarkable shadow detail. The result: rich,
film-like textures and depth, and an entirely involving, cinematic visual
experience.

Another key to the MF10’s video excellence is its exceptionally
accurate, 16-element, all-glass lens. This ensures sharp, fully focused
imaging across the entire screen, edge to edge and top to bottom. Its 2x
zoom delivers a large, bright image even in smaller environments with
curtailed throw-distance dimensions, delivering image size from 60 to 200

makes renewal simple even for ceiling-mounted installations.

The MF10 incorporates powerful DSP for high-performance video processing,
including deinterlacing and image scaling, making it a virtually
“plug-and-play” solution for high-end, full-HD image reproduction. For
installations requiring a range of fully state-of-the-technology abilities,
the MF10’s “pixel-for-pixel” unprocessed mode is tailor made to work in
tandem with Meridian’s newest digital video processor, the DVP2351.

Actbrise Electronics, has launched three luxury mouse replacements - the Jupiter mouse, Escher mouse, and the Deco mouse. The Jupiter mouse is built from wood. It comes with a wooden stand. The stainless steel Escher mouse comes in two versions, one for Windows and other one for the Mac. The Deco mouse is covered in stainless steel and Swarovski crystals. The Jupiter and Escher are priced at around $140 and $90 respectively while the pricing for Deco is $150.

Taiwanese company MSI has launched its "PR200 Crystal Collection," a luxury laptop in white with 120 crystals encircling the MSI logo. HyFish jet

The HyFish jet , is the first jet entirely powered by hydrogen, producing nothing but water reports Wallpaper . The HyFish is a collaboration between six firms from Switzerland, Germany, China and the US, with assistance from scientists and Stuttgart's DLR Institute for Technical Thermodynamics.

'The HyFish is only possible as an unmanned aircraft right now,' explains Koni Schafroth, who runs the project's Swiss design company Smartfish. 'The hydrogen cell technology is probably unable to support commercial flight by itself, although it could be used for drones and spotter planes. You could combine the cell power with conventional flight technology to create a two-man aircraft that should use less fuel than a car while still reaching around 900km per hour,' he adds. 'And that is what we are developing at the moment.'

Front suspension is a common double wishbone arrangement. However, for ES1, the lower wishbone is a composite single-sided swingarm. The unique aspect of our design is the way we mount the handlebars from the fork rather than from the frame – providing a very direct connection between handlebars and front wheel for front tire feel.

At the rear the carbon fiber swingarm has a slender section between the gearbox and the rear wheel to create the narrow position we need for ES1’s aerodynamic and ergonomic concepts.

Motorlight

Motorlight can be set to a precise angle of light or can be activated to cycle through continually adjusting angles to enhance the mood of your environment. It uses a unique mechanical focusing mechanism driven by a cam wheel which moves the angle-adjusting reflector up and down.

Sanyo champagne gold rice cooker

Sanyo has announced the ECJ-V10, a new champagne gold rice cooker set for launch September 1, 2007.

The new IH pressure rice cooker series adopts high thermal conductive copper for the kettle. The nickname of the cooker is "Takumi Jyundou Odoridaki (Maestro's Pure Cooker Dancing and Boiling).

The kettle is made by rolling pure 1.5-mm thick cooper (the degree of purity is 99.9%) put between stainless steel and aluminum alloy, enabling to heat quickly and enhancing heat-retaining property. Die-cast aluminum is used for the frame of the body for the first time in the industry, according to the company. The frame is a flat single piece, so it is more sturdy and easier to clean up than the resin used in the former products.
