Diamond Dust 'Stoned' Scent in Hand-blown bottle

    POST A COMMENT

Solange's work is the preferred choice of London's most discerning stars of rock, pop, film or any field for that matter and is a permanent fixture in the jewellery gallery of the Musée Décoratifs at the Louvre and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Conceived just as much as jewellery – a ‘liquid gem’ as she calls it, her first scent is as innovative a creation as ever. Entitled ‘Stoned’, the fragrance is mixed with diamond dust and bejewels the wearer’s skin. The scent is contained in a unique red bottle, hand-blown by a London master. It is created exclusively for 20ltd.com. Only 30 editions will ever be made.

    Molecule 01

    POST A COMMENT

EXCLUSIVE to Harvey Nichols, Molecule 01 contains only the aroma-chemical Iso E Super, which, on its own, is less of a fragrance than an effect. The wearer may notice a subtle, velvety, woody note which will vanish, then re-surface after some time. More than this, she or he will notice the impact the fragrance has on other people, because Molecule 01 lends an indefinable allure to the wearer. In fact, its effect is almost pheromonic.

    Les Mythiques © Parfums Givenchy

    POST A COMMENT

To mark its 50th anniversary, Givenchy is reintroducing ten of its mythic scents.

In 1957 Hubert de Givenchy created a cult perfume for his muse and friend Audrey Hepburn. Together they named it L'Interdit.

That same year the couture house became a perfume house with Le De, previously available exclusively from four leading department stores in Paris, London and New York.

In 1959 Hubert de Givenchy had his personal fragrance Vetyver created, a woody scent as elegant as it is natural. Then he conceived Monsieur, the first scent to be marketed internationally.

The early 1970s were a turning point in the lives of women and elegance took on a fresh face with Givenchy III.

Then came L'Eau de Givenchy and Xeryus in the 80s, followed by Insensé, Extravagance d'Amarige and Organza Indécence all of which marked the 1990s.

For this new edition, the bottle for the ten fragrances was created by Pablo Reinoso. The sober, sleek design features a thick base and a play of light between the transparent and frosted glass, with perfect proportions between the flacon and the cap.

A collection this elegant, resolutely modern could only be one thing: So Givenchy.

The ten Parfums Mythiques are available at Parfums Givenchy sales outlets and on the Web at www.parfumsgivenchy.com/e-boutique.

Etat Libre d’Orange 'Delicious Closet Queen '

    POST A COMMENT

Under the powerful trail of vetiver, leather and Tonka bean is concealed the sensuous female personality aroused by an overdose of dynamone, benzoin and opoponax for the Delicious Closet Queen fragrance. Delicious Closet Queen plays with disconcerting contrasts of sandalwood and geranium, violet and citrus accord.

Etat Libre d’Orange, or The Free State of Orange, is a collection of perfumes named after an area in South Africa where perfumer Etienne de Swardt comes from. Etat Libre d’Orange is commited to truly original products that are created when the author gives free rein to their imagination. Subversive and playful, the fragrances are free from censor and return to the quintessence of perfume, to it’s raw animality, to the power of evoking the body and its urges.

    Fendi Palazzo

    POST A COMMENT

With a modern and flamboyant composition based on orange blossom, Fendi's Palazzo opens with notes of mandarin, bergamot, lemon and pink pepper.

This luminous opulence crescendoes with orange blossom, sculpted by jasmine and Bulgarian rose, leading seamlessly into the silky sillage of patchouli and gaiac wood.

The bottle marries the baroque of the Double F symbol with the elegance and classic simplicity of the rectangular body, graced with a transparent rendition of the Palazzo Fendi.

More than a name, Palazzo is a metaphor for Rome and Fendi, an homage to the eternal city where every breath has an air of freedom, luxury and irreverence… just like a perfume.

    TokyoByKenzo

    POST A COMMENT

Kenzo has unveiled the new fragrance for men, TokyoByKenzo, concentrating the incredible energy of a city that refuses to let night fall.

Aromatic and exhuberant, the fragrance embraces the colors of the city. Explosive yellow fuses with neon taxi signs, expressed with essence of ginger, lemon and grapefruit. Vibrant red adds a bitter orange accord and essence of red berries.

Luminous green has an accord of essence of shiso, maté absolute and green tea, the symbol of Asian savoir-vivre. The intense darkness of the night is intimated by essence of guaiac wood, cedar, clove and nutmeg.

Created by Japanese designer Kashima Sato, the TokyoByKenzo bottle is both building and bamboo, urban and vegetal. The organic, pure form has a dense background set off by colorful bursts.

    POST A COMMENT

French perfume maker Francis Kurkdjian is set to launch Marie Antoinette Sillage de la Reine , a new scent priced at $900. Kurkdjian looked to the book, A Scented Palace: The Secret History of Marie-Antoinette’s Perfumer by Elizabeth Feydeau. The entirely natural fragrance contains rose, iris, cut jasmine, tuberose orange blossom, cedar ,sandalwood and notes of Tonkin musk
