The telephone is deeply enmeshed in people's lives. But you can't seem to find one that's quite right. If the functions are what you're looking for, then the overall design isn't right; if it looks good, then it doesn't have the functions you're looking for. People looking for a new phone for their home or office are bound to have felt this way.

The act of speaking is an important part of communication...wanting to speak to someone...waiting for a call from someone...at these times, the phone is a magical interface that links people together. Because it has such an important role, we wanted our phone to have a pleasing roundness to it, with a bit of humor thrown in for good measure. The slightly bent shape of the phone gives it a humble appearance. The phone is a tool used for talking to people; that's why a user-friendly shape endears itself to the person using it.
